Golden Autumn Double Ninth: Two Generations of Party School Members Pay Tribute to the Long March<\/span><\/h4>\n

Autumn breezes bring coolness, and osmanthus fragrances fill the air. To promote the traditional virtue of respecting and caring for the elderly, carry forward the red original aspiration, and pass on the fine school ethos, on October 17 the Municipal Party School held the 2026 Double Ninth Festival Carnival series of activities. More than 400 people gathered together to celebrate the Double Ninth Festival, including retired faculty and staff, representatives of retired comrades from member units of the Jing’an Veteran Cadre Community, and some in-service faculty, staff, and their families.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n

This year marks the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army’s Long March. Retired veteran comrades from the Municipal Party School’s Hongchao Poetry Society and Hongchao Choir, together with the Shanghai Fenglin Poetry Society, presented a poetry recital. Youth representatives of the Party School were invited to share the stage, and the two generations of Party School members jointly performed red songs and classic poems, paying tribute to the revolutionary forebears and praising the great spirit of the Long March. Dai Bing, Vice President of the Municipal Party School and Secretary of the Party Committee of its administrative organs, attended the event and delivered a speech.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n

As the lingering charm of the poetry and song gathering continued, a warm birthday celebration honoring the elderly was held. School leaders presented elderly seniors with scrolls bearing the character ‘Shou’ (longevity) specially created by the Hongchao Calligraphy and Painting Society, conveying the Party School’s humanistic care through a simple yet solemn ceremony.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As a key project of the Municipal Party School’s 2026 ‘Enjoying Silver Age’ series for retired personnel work, this event drew on the resources of the Shanghai Silver-Haired Store to carefully create an ‘invited-in Senior Expo.’ More than 30 quality enterprises showcased home-based elderly-friendly and smart elderly care products as well as distinctive cultural and entertainment programs, enabling veteran comrades to experience up close the new silver-haired lifestyle empowered by technology.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n
