Specializing in the senior market segment and connecting global resources.
As China’s population aging continues to intensify and the country’s high-quality development and opening-up policies advance steadily, the growing elderly population is unlocking significant market potential, attracting widespread attention from global players in the silver economy sector.
Against this backdrop, the China AID has continuously enhanced its internationalization and is becoming a core platform for global exchange and cooperation in the elderly care industry. In addition to independent exhibition booths of overseas brands throughout the venue, Hall W3 features an international exhibition area spanning over 1,500 square meters, showcasing exhibitors from countries such as Japan, Australia, and Canada, as well as representatives from New Zealand, Denmark, Hong Kong, China, and other regions. The event offers visitors a wide range of innovative age-friendly products and services covering assistive devices, dietary nutrition, and technology-driven wellness solutions, establishing an international exchange platform that connects global elderly care technologies and services.

Cross-sector integration enhances capabilities, unlocking new vitality for industries.
Against the backdrop of sustained national-level macroeconomic policies supporting the silver economy, the boundaries of the elderly care industry continue to be expanded and redefined. Combined with market demand, these policy incentives are attracting an increasing number of cross-sector brands to enter the sector rapidly, injecting fresh vitality into the industry.
At this expo, various “elder care+” sectors—including elderly education, senior tourism, elderly-friendly musical instruments, age-appropriate renovations, dietary nutrition, and age-friendly lighting—will be showcased collectively. Leading consumer brands such as MLILY (China’s premier smart bed brand), Dunhuang Musical Instruments (a Chinese ethnic brand), Bright Dairy (a renowned Chinese dairy brand), Danone (a French multinational food giant), IQAir (a Swiss high-end air purification system), IKEA (a Swedish home furnishings chain), and Ageronx (an eco-friendly subsidiary of Dreame) have all entered the silver economy sector, offering a wide range of age-specific products and solutions. Additionally, several financial institutions—including Bank of Communications, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, Bank of Shanghai, and Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank—will conduct on-site campaigns to promote elderly care financial policies and stimulate consumption. The growing diversity of cross-sector offerings at the Shanghai Senior Expo not only expands audiences’ understanding of the silver economy but also provides fresh insights into its future development.

The industry comes together, covering all six major sectors comprehensively.
As a global benchmark for the elderly care industry, the China AID has consistently attracted significant attention for its strong industry cohesion. Leading brands in smart elderly care such as Ankangtong, Infinity Wellness, and Genertec Universal Jadebird; flagship companies in age-friendly home solutions like Tiantan, Satori, and Haier; along with major players in elderly care services including Renshoutang, Fortune Care, Care Link, and CITIC Elderly Care, all regard the China AID as the essential platform for annual strategy launches.
With the continuous expansion of its exhibition portfolio, this year’s expo is built around six core sectors, with further refined themes and additional dedicated zones including those for age-friendly products, rehabilitation assistive devices, smart elderly care solutions, senior service facilities, silver consumption products, as well as specialized sections covering hearing health, elderly finance, smart lighting, home renovation, and dietary nutrition. Through comprehensive integration and scenario-based presentation of exhibits, the event significantly optimizes visitor navigation routes and business engagement efficiency, demonstrating the resource aggregation capabilities and platform value of this premier industry gathering.

Enhanced immersive experience – unlocking a new lifestyle for seniors.
To further leverage the Senior Expo platform for boosting senior consumption, Shanghai Senior Expo has meticulously developed several themed exhibition zones in recent years, offering visitors innovative experiences through immersive, scenario-based displays. This year’s event will integrate the “Senior Life Carnival” by establishing multiple new experiential areas in Halls W1 and W2.
Among the new features, the inaugural Silver Hair Music District offers a one-stop experience encompassing diverse lifestyle elements such as dining, beauty, and wellness, featuring a “Senior Friends Star Stage” where seniors can shine. Building on the existing Wheelchair Driving School, the newly added Exoskeleton Walking Street allows visitors to experience a “technology-driven stroll” and enjoy the freedom of mobility. Additionally, the expo will maintain its Silver Hair Lifestyle Zone under the theme “Where the Heart finds Peace is Home,” showcasing model units of future senior communities; the Rehabilitation Assistive Devices Section will create a “Home-based Rehabilitation Microcosm” with comprehensive consultation services; the Senior Food Benefits Zone will offer intergenerational dietary experiences through the “Time Workshop” and “Future Food Laboratory”; and the highly acclaimed Party-Mass Service Station will expand its services to provide warm and convenient support for all visitors.

With the support of professional forums, we promote high-quality development in the industry.

Concurrently, this year’s event featured the “2026 Silver Industry Innovation Development Conference,” focusing on topics such as silver finance, technology tailored for seniors, and new consumer scenarios.
Additionally, we will collaborate with the Shanghai Elderly Care Services and Aging Industry Association to organize a series of events under the theme “Innovation and Development Conference for Elderly Care in Major Cities.” Working alongside multiple partners, we will conduct industry salons on various topics to strengthen international cooperation and professional dialogue, providing a comprehensive value platform for industry professionals and fostering high-quality development of the aging care sector.
